David has filed 8 patents in fields ranging from music streaming to digital payments and stored value.

David has put together a synergistic management team and board that include talent from InComm, Western Union, Chockstone, Amazon, First Data and CoinStar. He has a combination of banking experience, operational excellence, and systems and security expertise to deliver on new and elegant uses of stored value for digital gift, promotion and payments.


Leslie _arifin

Leslie Arifin, Chief Architect

Leslie Arifin has over 17 years of IT experience building, leading and architecting large projects. He brings the ability to manage teams to implement high-end software solutions using Microsoft's latest .NET products. He understands the full life cycle of enterprise application development and has delivered for companies like Intel, Tek Systems and Providence Health Plan, while also being skilled in multiple programming languages.

Leslie has successfully architected virtual solutions on over a half dozen card processing platforms in the stored value marketplace. He is a pioneer in the field of virtual stored value and represents a knowledge-base that is unmatched in this industry, with many of the card processors requesting his time to solve key technical hurdles with their own platforms.

Christian Casebeer, SVP, Technology

Christian Casebeer has over 15 years of management experience with industry leading technology organizations. Christian has managed multi-million dollar technical project teams and helped build viable profit centers that have led to successful acquisitions by companies like Microsoft.

Christian has a Master's Degree focused on Management of Technology Start-Ups and is a certified Project Management Professional with a track record of using Best Practice Operational Management concepts to foster sustainable relationships and drive projects to successful and profitable completion.


Mike _fletcher

Michael Fletcher, SVP, Sales and Marketing

Mike Fletcher has 16 years of business, marketing and financial experience. Most recently, as COO of Point West Credit Union, Mike was responsible for marketing, business development, financial services, member services, lending and product development. Mike brings Giftango an understanding of industry initiatives in alternative payments systems as well as financial and banking experience alongside his career-long focus in marketing, branding and sales.

Prior to Giftango Mike spent time analyzing mobile payment initiatives on behalf of the Credit Union industry. Mike's effort in this field and experience in banking, sales and business development made him a perfect fit for Giftango's innovative efforts to change the stored value industry.

Marcell King, VP, Sales, Product and International Development

Marcell King has more than 14 years of business management, sales, marketing, and product management experience in the payments, financial service technologies and loyalty markets. Prior to joining Giftango, Marcell worked as Sr. Sales Manager of Corporate Gift Card Sales at ACI Gift Cards, a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com where he was responsible for managing corporate sales and business development for Amazon.com Gift Cards.

Prior to joining ACI, Marcell was VP of Sales for Open Solutions, a leading provider of data processing and payment solutions to the banking industry. Marcell has also held the role of Executive Vice President at Timely Rewards, a startup loyalty marketing company and Director of Sales and Marketing at BankServ, an international payments processing company.

 

Tony _tom2 Tony Tom, VP, Program Management

Tony Tom has over 7 years of experience in the prepaid card and payments industry. Prior to joining Giftango, Tony was the Director of Business Development for Western US and Canada at Givex, a global processor of closed-loop stored value payments. While at Givex, he lead company initiatives in expanding their market share in the merchant stored-value space as well as built out consumer-facing electronic loyalty programs and integrated stored-value ticketing solutions.

Prior to joining Givex, Tony was with Nike at their global headquarters in Portland as their In-Store Marketing Manager for Gift Cards. While there he oversaw gift card production and oversaw gift card marketing efforts for all Nike owned retail locations in the U.S. while helping launch gift card programs in Europe and Australia.
